I firmly believe that in modern warfare, as Lt Gen William G. Pagonis, USA said, “Good logistics is combat power.” I’ve had the good fortune of serving as a Marine for twenty-four years now, and in this time I have been three types of logistician. I started as an enlisted Small Arms Repairer, i.e. armorer. I was then given the opportunity to earn a commission through the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program and was fortunate enough to get my first choice of MOS, Logistics Officer. As of recently though, I made switch to the operational and strategic levels of logistics and currently serve as a Ground Acquisitions Officer with Marine Corps Systems Command.
