Association of Marine Corps Logisticians
The purpose of Association of Marine Corps Logisticians (AMCL) is to enhance and cultivate the logistics and supply chain professional community of the United States Marine Corps through concerted efforts to promote quality professional development of Marine Corps logisticians, to identify and share Department of Defense (DoD) and industry best practices, and by providing an open forum for the development and exchange of ideas.
What We Do
AMCL creates opportunities for professional growth within the community of Marine Corp logistics specialties. We coordinate and host a variety of events for the development and interests of our members and we host a professional blog to discuss topics of interest to the community.
Discussions and Presentations
AMCL identifies topics of interest to their members and hosts guided discussions and presentations. Topics are aimed at expanding the professional education of members. Formal training presentations or sales pitches for commercial solutions are avoided.
AMCL invites notable logistics leaders from booth DoD an industry, to speak at chapter events.
Site Visits and Tours
AMCL coordinates opportunities for members to tour logistics facilities and organizations. Site visits include both DoD and commercial facilities. The intention of site visits is to expose members to how other organizations do business, so that outside ideas can be brought into AMCL discussions.
Networking Events and Awards
AMCL hosts social events for the purposes of networking with other members. These events may include awards presentations to recognize contributions to the chapter, association, or field as deemed appropriate by AMCL and/or chapter leadership.
AMCL members volunteer in the surrounding community to foster and continue those values that are in keeping with the highest ideals of the Marine Corps.
